Movie Review: A Christmas Carol

Sometimes, I just might blog about movies.

Today, I'm blogging/reviewing A Christmas Carol. It's the 1999 version with Patrick Stewart. I watch it every year around Christmas, and I've always enjoyed it, but nevertheless, it is still a creepy, creepy movie.

Everyone is familiar with the story of A Christmas Carol. Grumpy Ebeneezer Scrooge hates Christmas, gets visited by 3 ghosts, and then has a change of heart and loves Christmas and all the people in the world. However, there is more to this movie than meets the eye.

It's Been A While...

I suck at blogging. Period. So I'm just going to do a quick run down of everything I started blogging on, but then changed my mind because I couldn't think of anything good to say. So here goes...

Once Upon a Dennis

This isn't a blog to complain about boys and I won't do it very often. But I just had to blog about the D.E.N.N.I.S System. So here goes. 
One day, a friend of mine taught me this system. It actually comes from the show It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia but it has mostly just helped me realize just how badly I got played (multiple times...) and how low some guys really are.




D.E.N.N.I.S. is a beautiful acronym. It stands for:

• Demonstrate Value
• Engage Physically
• Nurture Dependence
• Neglect Emotionally
• Inspire Hope
• Separate Entirely

This may have happened to some of you. Mostly, if you've ever been through a break up, then you have probably been D.E.N.N.I.S-ed. Unless you were the one doing the D.E.N.N.I.S-ing in which shame on you. Unless he deserved it.
Here is an example, so you can see if you are being DENNIS-ed.


Disclaimer: If I have ever been romantically affiliated with you I may or may not be talking about you. But...don't take it personally. In fact I wouldn't recommend reading this at all, but if you really want to, then maybe you'll gain a little perspective.
Also, to everyone, don't hate me for this. I don't know why you would, but you never know.
Lastly, this is just my interpretation of the D.E.N.N.I.S. system. Feel free to come up with your own interpretation.

Once, I babysat.

Sometimes, I babysit.

I really only babysit for one family though. Word must have gotten around about my lack of children skills, cuz families with tons of kids usually take one look at me and run.

Considering my lack of skills, I handled Friday night pretty well.

Jusss a few thoughts.

Now that I have this blog semi deece, it is time to begin.
